| 在可持续和高质量发展的背景下，新质生产力已成为驱动经济发展的核心动力。文章以2011—2022 年中国A 股上市公司为样本，分析ESG 表现对企业高质量发展的影响，进而基于中介效应模型探究新质生产力的作用机制。研究发现，ESG 表现显著提升了企业高质量发展，该效应在国有企业、非高科技企业和市场化程度较低的地区企业中更为显著。机制分析表明，ESG 表现有利于提升企业新质生产力的发展，从而促进企业高质量发展。本研究揭示了新质生产力在ESG 表现与企业高质量发展间的作用机制，并为企业高质量发展提供了新视角与着力点。 |
| 英文摘要: |
| In the context of sustainable and high-quality development, new-quality productivity has become the core driving force for China’s economic development. Using a sample of China’s A-share listed companies from 2011 to 2022, this study analyzes the impact of ESG performance on corporate high-quality development and further investigates the mediating mechanism of new quality productive forces through a mediating effect model. The findings reveal that superior ESG performance significantly enhances corporate high-quality development, with this effect being more pronounced among state-owned enterprises, non-high-tech enterprises, and firms operating in regions with lower marketization levels. Mechanism analysis demonstrates that ESG performance contributes to the advancement of new quality productive forces, thereby promoting corporate high-quality development. This research uncovers the role of new quality productive forces in mediating the relationship between ESG performance and corporate high-quality development, providing new perspectives and focal points for achieving corporate high-quality development. |
