      环境、社会与公司治理(ESG)已成为企业实现可持续发展的关键前提,同时也是企业战略体系中的重要组成部分。本文利用2011-2021 年中国A 股上市公司数据,基于资源基础理论,采用面板固定效应模型进行回归,系统考察了工业机器人应用对企业ESG 表现的影响及其作用机制。研究结果表明,工业机器人应用能够显著提升企业ESG 表现,其通过优化环境治理和提高绿色技术创新实现这一影响。此外,在劳动密集型企业以及绿色发展水平较低、环境污染较为严重的地区,工业机器人应用对企业ESG 表现的促进作用更加显著。本文不仅从理论上丰富了数字技术赋能企业ESG 的研究,也为企业实现绿色转型战略提供了政策参考。
英文摘要:
      Environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) has become a crucial prerequisite for enterprises seeking sustainable development and constitutes an essential component of corporate strategic systems. Drawing on data from Chinese A-share listed fi rms from 2011 to 2021, this study employs the resource-based view and uses a panel fi xed eff ects model to systematically examine the impact of industrial robot applications on corporate ESG performance and the underlying mechanisms through which this eff ect occurs. The empirical results reveal that the application of industrial robots significantly enhances corporate ESG performance by optimizing environmental governance and fostering green technological innovation. Moreover, this positive eff ect is more pronounced in laborintensive fi rms and in regions characterized by lower levels of green development and more severe environmental pollution. This study not only enriches the theoretical understanding of how digital technologies empower corporate ESG performance but also provides valuable policy implications for enterprises seeking to implement green transformation strategies.
